The Human Cycle.  From the minute we are born we are programmed to live our life in a particular way. We are taught that if we do X we will achieve Y.  Our parents , our peers, our schooling, our college and even the workplace prepare us for a 'way of doing' . It doesn't prepare us for a way of 'being'. This way of doing creates limitations which are formed as beliefs.  These beliefs pave the way for our life and dominate our behaviours.  When are faced with a situation that doesn't sit with our belief structure we tend to think that there is something wrong with us, rather than question the belief itself.  Most of our beliefs are developed whilst we are children and we carry them into adult hood and expect those to support our development and growth.

You cannot plant a seed of doubt and expect to grow a tree of confidence.
